SDI Active is included in the published base guide. LiquidSpring is an optional upgrade; the choice should follow your truck, load and driving needs.
Base suspension
SDI Active suspension is listed in both the F-250/F-350 and F-450 base package guides.
LiquidSpring upgrade
The available upgrade includes LiquidSpring with nitrogen bypass and an anti-sway bar upgrade at an additional $27,500.
Keep the package names clear
Luxury and LiquidSpring are separate options. Luxury lists sound deadening for F-250/F-350, or frame sound deadening and PSC hydraulic steering on the F-450 guide. LiquidSpring is the suspension upgrade. Choosing Luxury does not automatically include LiquidSpring.
Prepare for the conversation
Describe the roads you drive, how often you carry a load and whether the truck spends most of its time commuting, towing or travelling. Ask which suspension specification is proposed and what is included in its installation. A partner visit can also help you get familiar with an actual completed truck.
Choose around the truck
Your use, tire configuration and load requirements belong in the same conversation. Ask Truman to explain the system specification and its suitability for your build.
Put the guide to work.
Compare the equipment and upfit pricing, then explore the trucks that show it in practice.
